Model behaviour shifts over time. Techniques that were essential six months ago are sometimes counterproductive now. Everything here carries a date for that reason, and older notes stay up rather than being silently corrected.

When defaults shift, the same prompt starts producing different results. These notes record what moved and which existing advice no longer applies.

Occasionally something that reliably failed begins to work. The most useful notes, and the shortest-lived.
How this differs from the guides
The guides are maintained and meant to stay correct; when the craft changes, they get rewritten. These notes are dated observations that are deliberately left alone.

Why prompting advice ages
Every technique is written against one model at one moment. When that model is retrained, phrases that were load-bearing become noise - And negative terms that once fixed hands start flattening faces instead.
Common questions
How often is this updated?
When something actually changes. There is no schedule, because manufactured updates would defeat the purpose of a dated record.
Should I follow older notes?
Check the date first. Anything written against a model version that has since been updated may no longer hold.
